While Getting Chased \ Seema Aavas

nepali poet seema avas

I got chased away from the soil I touched for the first time,

I got chased away from the face I saw for the first time,

I got chased away from the hands that hold me for the first time.

while being chased,

I got chased away from myself.

On searching for the gardens of love and affections

in the desert that makes flowers thirsty

I got chased,

and fled with my perspiring forehead and soulful of thirst.

As the desolate path chased me away,

a land of blooming rhododendron ran before my sight

stream water began to fall from my eyes

and the cuckoo started singing the melody

drenched out from the leaves of Kafal.

On being chased again and again,

I handed over the green hills growing inside my fist

to the children playing with their dreams.

Being failed to tolerate the volcano within me

my shadow dropped down to the shed of my desire,

and again, I got chased away

from my own land.
